For the Alliance Meeting lasting 3 days, we requested the following services from 3 catering companies, for a total of 10 people: 4 coffee breaks and 2 cocktail receptions. The offers include the provision, delivery, and set up of necessary equipment at the conference venue, as well as the staff required to provide the service. The cheapest offer obtained was provided by Giolitti Catering Srl, totalling €1.200,00 (without VAT), and estimated to be €1.355,00 when VAT is included (with the applied VAT being 10% for consumables and 22% for staff). The breakdown of the quote from Gioitti Catering Srl is €100 for each coffee break (€400 in total), €230 for the evening cocktail reception, €270 for the mid-day cocktail reception, and €100 for a staff member for each day (€300 in total). The offer is attached below. It should be noted that some modifications were requested to the suggested consumables provided by Giolitti Catering Srl, which means that the cost may be adjusted once the final service is confirmed. Giolitti Catering Srl is registered with MePA, and is included in the White List. For comparison, the quotes provided for the same number and type of services from two other catering companies are also attached below, with the obtained quotes being €2.270,00 (excluding VAT, and €2.579,80 including VAT) for Piccadilly Banqueting and €2.370,00 (excluding VAT, and €2.593,00 including VAT) for Cookinart.
